Pitch feedback
from the feedback we got from the audience was very helpful. We got told that we had to be conscious of the lighting as we are planning to shot scenes at night time. The reason into why we are shooting at night time is because the colours at night time suit the song and the colour scheme we are going for. We got told that using too many people could be a problem but we were aware of this. We arent having all the actors on the scene at once, we are planning to have them different days. From the feedback we got, we had to think about whether shooting at night time was a good thing. Abbey had previously in AS used the same location at night time for photos and the lighting was fine, so we feel confident about shooting at nighttime. Our choice of target audience was a little to broad but still do feel the same for it. Possibly making the target audience a little more specific to 13-25. This is because some afrobeats songs are introduced to children from young so putting a specific age wouldn't be as easy.

Ideas
TREATMENT
I have a
variety of ideas for my music video with a planned structure, and sorted cast
members. The name of my song is Rock your body by Burna boy, which is a soft
afro beat song. This song is about a guy that crazy of a girl that’s playing
hard to get. I plan to have a performance, narrative based music video, as I want
two main characters to present love and romance, also carrying many different
shots of a happy girl with a cheeky smile, walking away from the guy even
though she knows he wants her so much.
The main
character is named: Isaac, he will carry the main lip sync, practically playing
the role of the singer. There will be a fast cutting right of different faces
singing the chorus such as people like: Danai, Adowa, Jessie, Isaac, Ayesha, Chris.
My video
will consist of professional dancers, such as: Jesse and subira and two friends
with a well learned dance routine. And other characters casually dancing in
between. A music video that inspires me for the acting, mise-en-scene and the
structure of my video is For life by Runtown. When is comes to effects, props,
ideas, shots, angles and lighting the music videos that inspired me was: kojo
funds: fear no one & My wish, Ycee: juice, and Mr eazi skin tight.
We will have
a shot of a drummer dancing and make it slow motion to have affects, as well as
having pictures of the main two actors in between shots.
My video
will be 3:35 seconds as that’s the length of the song.
Ideas for
mise on scene is:
House (different
areas within a house)
Isle of dogs
(at night)
Street (pretty
with lights)
Nice bride
River views
(dancers)
Film studio
for effects
Graffiti walls
for dancers
